If you are planning to buy an iPhone this month, hold on to your money first. If you already have one, don't buy accessories like cases and chargers as well.
iMore reported that Apple will announce a new line up of products this September 12, 2012, including a new iPhone, an iPad mini, an upgraded iPod Nano and iPod Touch.
The new iPhone is rumored to have a much smaller charging dock connector, and will have a different size and shape. So if you're planning to upgrade, don't buy the accessories, but if you don't plan to upgrade within the next 2 years, you can take advantage of the price fall of old accessories once Apple releases the new models.
